A graduate of Bard College, N.Y., Mr. Donaldson has produced, directed and acted in NY and LA for over fifteen years. He has produced and/or directed the West Coast Premiere of Beltway Roulette by Mark Scharf; Israel Horowitz’s Line, Suitehearts by Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore, Lone Star, You Can’t Take It With You, and Bar Room Trilogy: Heaven’s Den.
After serving as Coordinator for the Choreography Department for the feature film Dance With Me starring Vanessa Williams and directed by Randa Haines; he turned his attention towards producing and started his own company. Buddha-Cowboy Productions is dedicated to projects that raise the consciousness of the human spirit, offering the opportunity towards an enlightened perspective on the human condition.
His Short Film entitled, Little Bart Needs A Job!, was an Official Selection at the San Antonio Underground Film Festival and the International Festival of Cinema and Technology, where it toured New York, Toronto and Sydney. He co-produced the feature length film Soldier of God, an historical feature set in the Crusades about a Knight Templar (www.soldierofgod.net ); produced and directed the EPK “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”-The making of Soldier of God; line produced Love, Fear & Rabbits written and directed by Raphael Riera; Produced Jonah Salander’s Psychological drama entitled Broken and is currently Producing the feature FBI Guys (www.fbiguys.com) with Two Wolves Productions.
